To Sterilize or Not To Sterilize Baby Bottles

Infant Massage
Infant massage is not only a great way to bond with your baby, it is also an incredible tool to promote relaxation for your little one. Massage is shown to decrease the production of cortisol and norepinephrine (stress hormones) and increase serotonin (the body‘s natural relaxation hormone). Research also finds that massage may promote sounder and longer sleep patterns, aid in digestive issues, and enhance an infant's immune system, motor skills, and intellectual development.

Reading Recommendation!
Reading recommendation! The Happy Sleeper is one of my favorite guides, specifically for the 0-4 month age range. The “soothing ladder” is an incredible visual reference for parents and caregivers, helping baby establish self soothing skills from day one and stretching night sleep while always attending to baby’s needs. Finding this book, the 0-4 month chapter more closely represents my own method as a Newborn Care Specialist than any other I have found! Find your copy here:
