Infant Massage

Infant massage is not only a great way to bond with your baby, it is also an incredible tool to promote relaxation for your little one. Massage is shown to decrease the production of cortisol and norepinephrine (stress hormones) and increase serotonin (the body‘s natural relaxation hormone). Research also finds that massage may promote sounder and longer sleep patterns, aid in digestive issues, and enhance an infant's immune system, motor skills, and intellectual development.

I am thrilled to be able to offer new parents guidance in Infant Massage.

I now hold a Certificate of Achievement of Home Study Program in Infant Massage for Well, Premature, and Special Needs Babies through the Center for Massage Therapy Continuing Education!

Feel free to reach out with any questions you may have about the benefits of infant massage, to schedule a consultation, or for links to any of the research mentioned in this post!
