OVERNIGHT NEWBORN CARE
It is not uncommon for new parents to be concerned about bringing home their new baby. Some parents worry about their lack of knowledge on general care, others dread the thought of sleepless nights, and most feel unsure about how they will be able to go back to work. Through Welcome Home Baby, I provide services to address each of these concerns with a dedication to sharing my passion for newborns and my extensive knowledge with your family. My overnight care services include a brief meeting with you when I arrive at your home to inform me of how the day has been going and to address any questions that may have arisen that day. Once I am up to speed, you and your family are free to go to bed or tend to any other household matters as I lovingly care for your baby throughout the night while working on our sleep conditioning goals. In the morning, we will reconvene to discuss your child’s night and address any concerns you may have about the day ahead.

If you are considering Welcome Home Baby for your overnight care needs, contact me so we can schedule a time for an interview. At the conclusion of the interview, I will leave you a copy of my standard contract for you to review, sign, and return to me should you decide to use my services. A signed contract between us assures my availability to your family for the duration of the agreed upon work schedule. My standard contract includes care for 12 weeks on the days and hours you request, as well as, unlimited phone and email support for up to 4 weeks after our scheduled end date. I provide this support as means of helping your family to transition into its next chapter smoothly and ensure that you have the confidence you need as you enter it. You will also have the option to utilize my skills in sleep training to put your child on the right track for sleeping through the night or add-on other specialized consultations. It is my desire to make you feel empowered as a result of our time working together and aim to provide every parent with the tools they need to be successful in caring for their child.
Being a sleep based Newborn Care Specialist with a focus on sleep conditioning, my primary goal is helping your baby get on a great daytime and overnight schedule from day one and sleeping 7pm-7am straight through by 12-16 weeks old. This includes parent education, feeding support, scheduling, and overall newborn care support.
A typical overnight contract is about 9pm-6am, 4-6 nights per week, for 12-16 weeks.
Your On-Call Virtual NCS
Introducing your On-Call Virtual NCS! Two years into this pandemic, the postpartum journey looks very different for many families than it did before 2020. With so many new parents limiting visitors in the home without family or professional support, I am excited to offer a new option for Newborn Care Specialist support.
As your On-Call Virtual NCS, I will be available to guide you when questions or concerns arise during the first 12 weeks of your parenting journey. This package starts with a 90 minute video consultation, answering all of your initial questions, providing an introduction to newborn care, safety, and routine, and setting the foundation for newborn sleep success. For 12 weeks, you will have unlimited access to me via email! We will also schedule two 30-minute video chats per month, discussing your baby’s milestones and troubleshooting weekly changes in routine.
Whether it’s guiding you through the basics of newborn care, healthy sleep habits, creating a daytime routine, reading your baby's cues, infant feeding, or to simply provide reassurance regarding your baby’s well-being and safety, I will be available to provide you with information and to answer any questions as they arise!
The Welcome Home Baby On-Call Virtual NCS Package starts at $675 per month for 3 months. Baby gear consultations and registry set up also available as add-ons to this package.
24/7 AND TRAVEL CARE
I recognize that there is not always a “one size fits all” solution to every parent’s newborn care needs and, as such, I am flexible in the services I offer. I have a wealth of experience in traveling with families with newborns, and I pride myself on being travel ready at a moment’s notice, so when you are ready to go, I am too. While consultations or overnight care may be suitable for some families, you may desire to have assistance 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. I have spent many years working in the home as a nanny or as part of a household staff and am accustomed to assisting families throughout each day.
